The Gulfstream G600 price is reported at $54.5 million to $60 million for a new aircraft (Private Jet Card Comparisons, read November 2026), and Aviation Week put the equipped price at $63.5 million in March 2026. Gulfstream lists a maximum range of 6,600 nautical miles (gulfstream.com, read November 2026), and used examples are modeled from about $42.7 million (Flycraft, October 2026).

Gulfstream does not publish a price for the G600, so every dollar figure here is reported, attributed and dated. Treat each as a working range, not a quote. This guide goes deeper on the G600 itself: what it costs new and used, the specs, the cabin and flight deck, what it takes to run, and how it compares with the G650, the Bombardier Global 6500 and the Dassault Falcon 6X.

Gulfstream G600 Price

New: List, Equipped and What Moves the Number

Reported new prices differ by source, which is normal for a jet sold with a long options list. Private Jet Card Comparisons gives $54.5 million to $60 million depending on options and says fully customized aircraft can pass $70 million (read November 2026). Aviation Week quotes $63.5 million as its equipped price, based on the Business & Commercial Aviation figure (March 2026).

A sensible reading today is the mid-$50 millions for a base aircraft and the low-to-mid $60 millions once the interior, avionics options and delivery slot are specified.

The jet is not winding down. Gulfstream delivered its 200th G600 on March 20, 2026, and its president, Mark Burns, said “Interest in the G600 remains incredibly strong worldwide” (Aviation Week, March 2026). The FAA issued the type and production certificates on June 28, 2019, and the first delivery followed in August 2019 (Aviation Week, March 2026).

Used: Modeled Values and Reported Sales

Used pricing is a spread. Each figure below is an attributed snapshot, not an appraisal.

  • Flycraft, a charter company that also publishes a value model through its sister company Radar, estimated about $42.7 million for a 2019 build and $59.5 million for a 2026 build at typical hours on an engine program (October 2026).
  • The same page lists reported sales of a 2020 aircraft at $42.10 million (June 4, 2026), another at $48.00 million (April 15, 2026) and a 2022 aircraft in an engine program at $55.50 million (February 19, 2026).
  • Private Jet Card Comparisons gives $45 million to $55 million for used examples, depending on entry-into-service date (read November 2026).

Hours, engine program enrollment, damage history, avionics and logbook completeness all move the price of a single aircraft, as Flycraft itself notes. For a real figure, ask a broker for sold comparables rather than asking prices. Flycraft counted 227 G600s on the US register in October 2026, built between 2017 and 2026, so the used market is deep enough to compare.

If you are choosing between sizes in the same family, our Gulfstream G500 price guide covers the smaller jet and its G500 versus G600 comparison.

Gulfstream G600 Specs

Gulfstream states range as a theoretical figure: 6,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 with eight passengers, four crew and NBAA IFR reserves, or 5,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.90 (gulfstream.com, read November 2026). Winds, routing and payload decide each real trip. Flycraft’s examples show New York to London at 2,986 nautical miles, Los Angeles to Tokyo at 4,746 and New York to Dubai at 5,941 (October 2026).

How the G600 Fits the Gulfstream Line

On its aircraft page, Gulfstream lists the G800 at 8,200 nautical miles, the G700 at 7,750, the G600 at 6,600, the G500 at 5,300 and the G400 at 4,200 (gulfstream.com, read November 2026). The G600 therefore sits in the middle of the current large-cabin family, below the two longest-range jets and above the smaller pair. For the next step up, see our Gulfstream G700 price guide. For a ranking of every long-range option, see longest range private jets.

The Cabin and Flight Deck

Up to Four Living Areas

Gulfstream lists a finished cabin 7 ft 7 in wide and 6 ft 2 in high, with a cabin volume of 1,884 cubic feet and up to four living areas (gulfstream.com, read November 2026). The jet is certified for up to 19 passengers, but most owners choose fewer seats. Gulfstream’s sample layouts show 13 or 17 passengers, sleeping six or seven, depending on the galley layout.

Private Jet Card Comparisons describes a standard configuration of about 13 passengers, or 10 in a sleeping configuration (read November 2026). The final arrangement is agreed with the buyer before delivery, so a used G600 can differ a lot from the next one on the ramp. Check the specification sheet of the exact aircraft, especially the galley, the bathroom and the bed.

The cabin altitude is 3,255 feet when the jet cruises at 41,000 feet (gulfstream.com, read November 2026). That is the figure Gulfstream gives for the pressure you feel in the cabin.

The Symmetry Flight Deck

The G600 uses Gulfstream’s Symmetry Flight Deck. Gulfstream describes active control sidesticks that give pilots visual and tactile feedback between seats, ten touch-screen displays, Phase-of-Flight intelligence, an Enhanced Flight Vision System and a Synthetic Vision Primary Flight Display (gulfstream.com, read November 2026). For a buyer, the flight deck is a safety and workload question rather than a styling one. It is worth asking a broker which software and avionics updates a specific used aircraft has received.

Aviation Week also reported in March 2026 that EASA granted steep-approach certification in January, which allows the G600 to operate at more airports, including London City.

Running and Charter Cost

Charter per Hour

Most readers will fly a G600 as a charter passenger, not an owner. Flycraft says about $18,000 to $19,000 per flight hour for the ultra-long-range class, based on published rates (page updated December 12, 2024). That is a class figure, not a G600 quote. Taxes, de-icing, landing and handling fees and positioning flights come on top.

Owning One

Flycraft says it does not yet publish a full G600 ownership estimate (page updated December 12, 2024). It does show fuel of about $3,458 an hour, based on a burn of 458 gallons an hour at $7.55 a gallon. Maintenance, crew, insurance, hangar and engine program costs come on top and depend on the aircraft.

For the median ultra-long-range jet, the same page models about $1,713,437 a year in fixed costs and $8,865 an hour variable. That is a class reference, not a G600 budget. A specialist should price a specific aircraft before you commit. Our cost of owning a private jet guide explains the categories.

G600 vs Rivals

The G600 competes with a short list of large-cabin jets. The G650 is the older, longer-range Gulfstream and the G600’s closest rival on cabin size. The Bombardier Global 6500 matches its published range. The Dassault Falcon 6X is smaller on range but sells its cabin cross-section.

Private Jet Card Comparisons lists a new price of $78 million for the G650 and says the final G650ER was delivered in February 2025 (read November 2026). Flycraft models used G650s from about $25.2 million for a 2012 build to $66.3 million for a 2023 build (October 2026). That is why the older jet is a buyer’s alternative: it offers more range and a wider cabin, and older used examples are modeled well below the reported new G600 price, while the newest ones are modeled above it. Our Gulfstream G650 price guide has the detail.

Verdict: the G600 is the choice if you want a current-production Gulfstream, long range and the Symmetry flight deck at a price below the G700. The G650 gives more range and width if you buy used. The Global 6500 matches the G600 on published range with a wider cabin. The Falcon 6X offers the roomiest cross-section on paper but about 1,100 nautical miles less range.

If you only need the trip, charter is the simpler route. Hourly rates above show why a G600 flight is a different budget from a jet card hour.
