The Gulfstream G700 price starts around $75 million. Flying magazine listed the jet at that figure when the first two were delivered in April 2024, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution gave a 2023 list price of $79 million when the FAA certified the aircraft on March 29, 2024. Add the interior and options you actually want, and the number goes up from there.

The money pays for the biggest cabin Gulfstream builds: up to five living areas, 20 windows and a maximum range of 7,750 nautical miles, per Gulfstream. Below you get what the price covers, the specs behind it, the interior, what it costs to fly and how it compares with its nearest rivals. Gulfstream G700 Price and What Is Included

Manufacturers do not publish a price list for jets at this level, so every figure below is a reported one. Read them as a working range, not a quote.

Reported List Price

Two numbers circulate. Flying put the G700 at $75 million in its April 2024 report on the first deliveries, and Air Charter Advisors states an MSRP of $75 million, introduced in 2019. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering the FAA certification in March 2024, gave a 2023 list price of $79 million.

None of these sources explains the $4 million gap. Treat $75 million to $79 million as the range for a new aircraft with a basic specification.

Gulfstream’s own G700 page states no price and directs buyers to contact the company.

Options and Completion

The list price buys the aircraft, not your cabin. Layout, finishes, seating, entertainment and the shower are specified with the buyer, and the final invoice reflects those choices. Gulfstream’s page shows how much room there is to choose: up to five living areas, seating for up to 19 and sleeping for up to 13.

We found no published, sourced figure for what a typical owner spends on options, so we do not put a number on it. If you are shopping, ask for the completed price of a specific layout, not the base price.

Wait List and Pre-Owned Resale

The G700 is too new for a deep used market. An April 2026 headline in Aviation International News reads “Hagerty Jet Group: Preowned Gulfstreams Are Hard To Find,” which matches what a search for a Gulfstream G700 for sale shows: very little. Any “used G700 price” online is either a broker’s asking figure or a repeat of the new price.

AIN’s caption for that report, citing Hagerty Jet Group, reads: “No preowned G700s are available for sale, with only one sold on the used market in the history of the model.”

For a buyer, that scarcity means two routes: a delivery slot from the factory, or an early owner willing to sell through a broker.

G700 Specs That Drive the Price

Cabin volume, range and speed are what separate this jet from a smaller one. These are Gulfstream’s published figures for the G700, set beside its smaller sibling, the G800.

Range and Speed

Gulfstream lists 7,750 nautical miles as the G700’s maximum range. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution ties that figure to a speed of Mach 0.85, while the jet is rated to Mach 0.935 at the top end. Real range moves with passengers, winds and routing. If distance decides your purchase, compare it on our longest range private jets page.

Cabin Size and Cabin Altitude

The cabin is 56 ft 11 in long, 8 ft 2 in wide and 6 ft 3 in high, per Gulfstream, excluding the baggage compartment. Gulfstream also lists a cabin altitude of 2,840 ft at a cruising altitude of 41,000 ft: the pressure inside the cabin feels like a modest elevation, not like a high mountain town.

The length is the number that matters most for price, since it makes five living areas possible. For how that compares with the largest aircraft flown privately, see the biggest private jets in the world.

Gulfstream G700 Interior

The G700 interior is the main reason to pay the premium over a smaller Gulfstream. Gulfstream’s own page gives the framework, and the owner decides the rest.

Up to Five Living Areas

Gulfstream lists up to five living areas and 20 Panoramic Oval Windows. The count depends on the layout the buyer picks: the G800, with the same cabin width and height but a shorter cabin, tops out at four.

Bedroom and Shower Options

The G700 sleeps up to 13, per Gulfstream. Gulfstream’s G700 page lists a Grand Suite with a shower, and sleeping capacity that varies by configuration: up to 8 with the forward galley and Grand Suite, and up to 9 with the Ultragalley or the five-living-area layout. Check both when you review a floor plan.

If sleeping on board is the priority, compare it with the other cabins in our guide to private jets with beds. For what every cabin class offers inside, read the main private jet interior guide.

G700 Operating Cost

Buying is one cost. Flying it is another, and it is where first-time buyers tend to underestimate.

Charter per Hour

Charter is how most readers will ever fly a G700. Air Charter Advisors says the cost to charter a G700 will start at around $15,000 to $18,500 an hour, based on 2026 market data, and notes that the estimate excludes taxes, landing and handling fees and positioning flights. Treat that as broker marketing, not a firm quote: the route, the date and the operator move the price.

Ownership Costs

For an owner, fixed costs arrive whether the jet flies or not. Air Charter Advisors estimates an annual budget of about $2 million at 200 flight hours: fixed costs of roughly $975,000 to $995,000 and variable costs of about $975,000, or about $4,875 per flight hour in direct operating cost. That is a broker estimate, and it leaves out depreciation and financing.

G700 vs G800 vs Global 8000

The G700’s main rival is Bombardier’s Global line. Its predecessor has its own Gulfstream G650 price page. The table below uses the manufacturers’ own figures.

Verdict: the G700 has the longest cabin, shares the widest with the G800, and is the only one with a fifth living area. The Global 8000 has more range than the G700, more speed and a lower cabin altitude. Take the G700 for space, the Global 8000 for reach and speed. Bombardier’s whole line is on our Bombardier price list.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a G700 cost per hour to charter?
A G700 costs roughly $15,000 to $18,500 an hour to charter, according to Air Charter Advisors' 2026 estimate. That figure excludes taxes, landing and handling fees and positioning flights, so the all-in price for a real trip is higher and varies by operator and route.
How much is a used Gulfstream G700?
There is no reliable used price yet, because very few pre-owned G700s have traded. Aviation International News reported in April 2026 that pre-owned Gulfstreams are hard to find. Asking prices are set by brokers case by case, so expect them to sit close to the new-aircraft price.
How many passengers does a G700 seat?
A G700 seats up to 19 passengers, according to Gulfstream. The same cabin sleeps up to 13, depending on the layout chosen. Owners who want a bedroom, a lounge and a dining area usually choose fewer seats to make room for them.
What is the difference between the G700 and G800?
The G800 trades cabin length for range. Gulfstream lists the G700 at 56 ft 11 in with 7,750 nautical miles and up to five living areas, and the G800 at 46 ft 10 in with 8,200 nautical miles and up to four. Speed, width and height are the same.
How far can a Gulfstream G700 fly?
A Gulfstream G700 can fly up to 7,750 nautical miles, according to Gulfstream's maximum range figure. That figure assumes Mach 0.85, eight passengers and four crew; at Mach 0.90 Gulfstream lists 6,650 nautical miles. Real range also depends on winds and routing.
