Cristiano Ronaldo private jet reports center on a Gulfstream G650, which Goal reported in January 2025 he had bought to replace an older Gulfstream G200. You will not find either aircraft on the US registry, and the price numbers you see online come from press estimates, not documents.

The short answer

Reports say yes: Cristiano Ronaldo has a Gulfstream G650, reported at around $75 million, replacing a Gulfstream G200 that aerocorner lists as EC-KBC. No source we found names the G650’s registration, and a search of the FAA registry for “RONALDO” returned nothing, so none of this is confirmed by a registry record we could read.

Does Cristiano Ronaldo have a private jet?

According to Goal, in an article published on January 12, 2025, Ronaldo bought a new Gulfstream G650. Goal says the jet can carry up to 19 passengers and that 10 of them can use sleeping facilities. These are press descriptions of the model, and we have no photo or filing that ties a specific airframe to him.

He is also widely reported to fly private as a matter of routine, which is not in dispute. What is uncertain is the paperwork: which aircraft, registered where and to which company.

What we could not confirm

No source we opened names the G650’s registration. aerocorner, an aviation site, says the same: its page marks the registration as undisclosed. Without it, nobody outside the owner’s circle can check the aircraft’s age, ownership or certificate dates, and anyone quoting a tail number for this jet is guessing.

From G200 to G650: what the reports say, and how solid they are

Goal says Ronaldo “had been the owner of a $24m (£20m) Gulfstream G200” before the new jet. aerocorner, a more detailed source on this point, says the G200 was registered EC-KBC in Spain, was acquired in 2015 for about €19 million while he played for Real Madrid, and was used until 2023. It also says the jet was reportedly sold around then for about $21 million. That sale is reported but not confirmed, as aerocorner notes that rumors of a buyer were never officially confirmed.

Where the sources disagree

The accounts do not line up neatly. Goal places the G650 purchase in early 2025. aerocorner says the G650 arrived in 2023 at a value of roughly $73 million, and it separately lists a Bombardier Global Express XRS, registered LX-GOL in Luxembourg, acquired in December 2024. We could not verify either claim against a registry record, so we report them as claims.

Our reading: the G200 being replaced by a larger jet is consistent across sources; the dates, the number of aircraft and the registrations are not settled. We would not treat any single page, including ours, as the last word.

Why the price varies

Goal gives the figure as $75 million in its headline, while the body of the same article says “new €75m (£61m) jet”. That mismatch alone explains part of the noise: euros, pounds and dollars get swapped between outlets. aerocorner puts the G650 at roughly $73 million. We use “around $75 million” and label it a press figure.

Why you will not find it on the FAA registry

The FAA registry lists aircraft registered in the United States. An aircraft owned by someone outside the US is normally registered in another country, such as Spain, Luxembourg or elsewhere, and appears on that country’s register. A name search for “RONALDO” on the FAA registry on November 6, 2026 returned nothing, which is what you would expect for a non-US owner and tells you nothing about whether he owns a jet.

If you want to check yourself, you need the registration, and for the G650 that is the missing piece. For the G200, EC-KBC is a Spanish registration, so it would sit on the Spanish register, which we did not search.

How much does a jet like his cost?

For a sense of what the press figure means, our Gulfstream G650 price guide covers what new and used examples of the model are listed for and what drives the difference. A large-cabin, ultra-long-range jet sits far above the budget of our guide to private jets under $20 million, which is the range where most first-time buyers actually shop.

The purchase price is also the smaller part of ownership. Crew, hangar, insurance, maintenance programs and fuel are paid every year whether the aircraft flies or not. Our breakdown of the cost of owning a private jet shows how those fixed and variable costs add up.

Charter a similar jet

You do not need to buy an aircraft to fly one in this class. Large-cabin jets are available per flight through charter operators, and our private jet charter cost guide explains how hourly rates, positioning legs and trip length shape a quote.

How we checked

On November 6, 2026 we searched the FAA aircraft registry by owner name for “RONALDO” and found no aircraft. We then read Goal’s January 12, 2025 report and aerocorner’s June 2026 article on his aircraft, and used only figures those pages state, attributed by name. We did not find a registration for the G650 in any source, so this page does not give one. Frequently Asked Questions

How much is Ronaldo's private jet?
Goal reported the Gulfstream G650 at $75 million in its headline, though the body of the article gives €75 million. aerocorner says roughly $73 million. These are press estimates, not sale records, so treat "around $75 million" as a reported figure.
How many private jets does Ronaldo have?
Reports describe a Gulfstream G650 as his main jet, replacing a Gulfstream G200. aerocorner also lists a Bombardier Global Express XRS, but we could not confirm it. No registry record we could read shows how many aircraft he owns.
Does Cristiano Ronaldo own a private jet?
Press reports say yes. Goal reported in January 2025 that he bought a Gulfstream G650. We found no registry record naming him, and his aircraft would not be on the US registry if foreign registered, so the ownership rests on reporting.
