Does Neymar have a private jet? According to Brazilian press, yes: a first jet, an Embraer Legacy 450 bought in 2016, and now a three-engine Dassault Falcon 900LX. Neither shows up on the US FAA registry, which is why American jet-tracker sites have so little to say about him.
This page separates what Brazilian outlets report from what we could check, covers why three engines matter on a long-haul jet, explains the registry gap, and shows what flying a similar aircraft costs.
The short answer
Yes, according to Brazilian reports, though we could not verify it in a registry. Outlets describe a Legacy 450 bought in 2016 and, more recently, a Dassault Falcon 900LX. Brazilian aircraft are not in the FAA registry, so the US system cannot confirm or deny either.
The Legacy 450 years, and the reported seizure
The Brazilian site DCI reported in June 2022 that Neymar’s first jet was an Embraer Legacy 450. It cited the UOL column Todos a Bordo, which put the value at US$16.6 million when he bought it in 2016. The Legacy 450 is a midsize business jet from Embraer, a Brazilian manufacturer.
The tax case
Neymar’s assets became part of a Brazilian tax case in 2016. ESPN reported that authorities moved to freeze the assets of Neymar, his family and related businesses, a list that included a yacht, a jet and several properties, in a case over about 63 million reals in taxes for 2011 to 2013. ESPN said he denies wrongdoing. We could not confirm which aircraft the freeze covered, and the sources we opened do not say it was the Legacy 450, so we are not linking the two.
The Falcon 900LX: why three engines
Canaltech reported on April 29, 2026 that Neymar paid about R$225 million for a Dassault Falcon 900LX, and gave a range of $40 million to $55 million depending on how the cabin is customized. Other Brazilian outlets have printed different figures, and none gives an official price, so treat every number as a media estimate.
Why the engine count matters
Canaltech describes the aircraft as one of the few business jets with three engines, with a range of about 8,800 kilometers. Dassault is a French manufacturer known for its three-engine Falcons; our Taylor Swift private jet page covers another Falcon. For how this range compares with other long-haul aircraft, see our longest-range private jets ranking.
Why Brazilian jets do not show up on US trackers
The FAA registry only lists aircraft with US N-numbers. Brazilian aircraft carry PP- or PR- registrations and sit in Brazil’s own registry. We did not search the FAA by Neymar’s name for that reason: a US result would say nothing about his aircraft, and an empty one would not mean he has none.
We rely on the Brazilian reports above and say so, rather than assign a US tail number.
What a Legacy or Falcon charter costs
You do not need to buy to fly this class of aircraft. Midsize jets like the Legacy 450 sit in the same charter band as many popular models; see our best mid-size private jets guide. A large three-engine aircraft costs more per hour.
Prices depend on route, season and positioning, so we keep the current ranges and a worked example in our private jet charter cost guide.

How we checked
We read DCI’s June 2022 report on the Legacy 450, ESPN’s report on the 2016 asset freeze, and Canaltech’s April 2026 report on the Falcon 900LX. We did not search the FAA because it does not cover Brazilian registrations.
None of the figures here is an official price, and Brazilian reports can differ. See all our celebrity private jets.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How much is Neymar's private jet?
- Brazilian outlets differ. Canaltech reported in April 2026 that he paid about R$225 million for a Dassault Falcon 900LX, or $40 million to $55 million depending on the cabin. DCI reported $16.6 million for his earlier Legacy 450. None is an official price.
- Does Neymar have a private jet?
- According to Brazilian press, yes. DCI reported an Embraer Legacy 450 bought in 2016, and Canaltech reported a Dassault Falcon 900LX in 2026. We could not verify either in a registry, since Brazilian aircraft are outside the FAA's records.
- How many private jets does Neymar have?
- The reports we opened describe two over time: the Legacy 450 and the newer Falcon 900LX. They do not say whether he still holds the first. Registrations in Brazil are not searchable through US tools, so we cannot confirm a count.
