How many jets does Kenneth Copeland have? The FAA registry shows one jet registered to his church, a Gulfstream G-V. It sits beside a Pilatus PC-12 turboprop and two piston planes under the same owner, Eagle Mountain International Church of Newark, Texas.
Copeland has talked about his aircraft in public, and his ministry announced a Gulfstream V purchase from Tyler Perry in early 2018. This page lines up the registry, the press coverage and Copeland’s own words, and explains where the tail number N652CK, which many readers search, fits.
The short answer
The FAA registry on November 6, 2026 lists four aircraft registered to Eagle Mountain International Church: a Gulfstream G-V (N1967J), a Pilatus PC-12/47E (N91KC), a Cessna 182B and a Beech E-55. The church is Kenneth Copeland’s, and his ministry reported buying a Gulfstream V from Tyler Perry in 2018.
The aircraft on the registry
We searched the FAA aircraft registry for the owner name EAGLE MOUNTAIN on November 6, 2026. It returned seven aircraft. Four are registered to Eagle Mountain International Church Inc, in Newark, Texas:
- N1967J, a Gulfstream G-V, built in 2000, serial number 602, with its current certificate issued 12/13/2017.
- N91KC, a Pilatus PC-12/47E single-engine turboprop, built in 2014, certificate issued 01/24/2023.
- N2618G, a Cessna 182B.
- N413KG, a Beech E-55.
Three more carry related names. Eagle Mountain Aviation Inc is the registrant for a Beech A23A (N1000J) and a Beech M35 (N952T), and Eagle Mountain Holdings LLC for a Scottish Aviation Bulldog (N427VC).
So there is one jet. The PC-12 is turboprop-powered, and the rest are piston aircraft. A church owner is not the same as a personal owner, and we write “registered to the church” because that is what the record says.
The Gulfstream V from Tyler Perry
Christian Today reported on January 24, 2018 that Kenneth Copeland Ministries had bought a Gulfstream V from Tyler Perry. The outlet said the price was not disclosed and cited estimates of $5.9 million to $12 million, which we treat as estimates, not facts. It also reported that the ministry wanted to raise $19.5 million, with part of it for maintenance, a hangar and runway work.
Is N1967J the ex-Perry jet? The FAA record shows a Gulfstream G-V with a certificate issued 12/13/2017 to the church, and the timing is consistent with the deal reported weeks later. No source we opened gives the serial number of the Perry aircraft, so we say the timing matches and stop there. For Perry’s own side, see Tyler Perry’s private jet.
The 2019 Inside Edition interview
In May 2019 Inside Edition correspondent Lisa Guerrero interviewed Copeland in Branson, Missouri. CBS News, writing on June 4, 2019, reported that when asked about the Perry jet he said, “Well, that’s none of your business,” and also said Perry “made it so cheap” that he could not help buying it. CBS also reported that he said flying commercial would mean he’d “have to stop 65% of what I’m doing.”
Inside Edition reported on June 7, 2019 that Copeland owns three aircraft in total, the Gulfstream V and two others. That count and the registry list do not line up one to one, since the registry shows more aircraft under Eagle Mountain names. We do not try to reconcile them, because a press count could mean aircraft in use, and the registry could include planes that are older or not flown.
What a Gulfstream V costs to run
A Gulfstream V is a large-cabin, long-range aircraft; our longest-range private jets ranking shows where jets of its class sit. Running one is expensive whoever owns it, and the bill is made up of crews, maintenance, insurance, hangar and fuel. See the cost of owning a private jet for the line items.
You can fly the same class of jet without buying one, by chartering. Our private jet charter cost guide explains how a quote is priced.
Why N652CK shows up in searches
N652CK is often given online as the current Copeland jet. The FAA registry on November 6, 2026 shows N652CK as “Not Assigned/Reserved,” which means the number is held but attached to no aircraft. Searches for it find it in old roundups, and none of those match the registry today.
How we checked
On November 6, 2026 we searched the FAA aircraft registry for EAGLE MOUNTAIN and read each result, then opened the N-number records for N1967J, N91KC and N652CK. We read Christian Today’s report of January 24, 2018 and CBS News’s report of June 4, 2019. We also searched for Inside Edition’s own account of the interview. The registry shows registered owners, not who flies the aircraft, and it cannot show charters or aircraft held under other names.
