Taylor Swift’s private jet is a Dassault Falcon 7X, according to press reports based on FAA records. She also had a smaller Dassault Falcon 900, which she sold in January 2024. The 7X is the one she kept.
The registration is where it gets messy. This page lays out what was reported, what the FAA registry shows today, and why the “Taylor Swift jet tracker” accounts stopped being able to follow her.
The short answer
NewsNation reported in February 2024, citing Federal Aviation Administration records, that Taylor Swift sold her Dassault Falcon 900 and was left with a single jet, a Dassault Falcon 7X. No named outlet we could open confirms which registration the 7X uses today.
Which Private Jet Does Taylor Swift Use Now?
NewsNation reported in February 2024 that the sale of the Falcon 900 “leaves Swift with a single private jet, a Dassault Falcon 7X.” Press coverage had previously linked her to both Dassault jets.
Jet-tracking sites have associated two registrations with her aircraft, N621MM and N898TS. We checked both on the FAA registry on November 6, 2026. Neither is attached to an aircraft: N621MM is a reserved number held by Island Jet Inc, and N898TS is a reserved number held by S.A.T.A LLC, both at the same Nashville street address. The registry does not tell us which registration the 7X flies under now.
The Falcon 900 Sale: What Was Reported
TMZ reported on February 7, 2024, citing FAA records, that the sale of her Falcon 900 was completed at the end of January 2024. The new owner on the record was a Missouri LLC called Triangle Real Estate, which TMZ said “appears to be linked to CarShield,” the auto protection company, because the FAA listed the owner’s address at a CarShield call center in St. Peters, Missouri. The sale price was not disclosed, and we found no outlet that gave a confirmed figure.
Both details come from press reports of the FAA record. TMZ said neither side commented. We repeat the timing and the buyer as reported, not as confirmed by a statement from either party.
The Dassault Falcon 7X Explained
The Falcon 7X is a large-cabin, long-range business jet built by Dassault Aviation of France. It has three engines, a layout that is unusual in business aviation, where most large jets have two. Dassault’s own listing for one example shows three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines. That trijet design is one of the aircraft’s signatures.
The 7X sits in the long-range class, built for flights that cross oceans. Our guide to the longest-range private jets shows where it stands against the jets that fly farthest. We do not print range or seat numbers for it here because we could not confirm them at a manufacturer page, and we prefer an empty cell to a guess.
What a Falcon 7X Costs to Buy, Run or Charter
Prices for the specific aircraft are not public. The sale of the Falcon 900 had no disclosed price, and we have no source for what she paid for either jet.
For a jet in this class, the cost splits three ways:
- Buying: large-cabin jets cost tens of millions of dollars new, and used examples vary widely with age and hours. See our Bombardier price list for an example of how list prices are laid out.
- Running: crew, hangar, insurance, maintenance and fuel add up whether the jet flies or not. Our cost of owning a private jet guide breaks down each line.
- Chartering: you pay by the flight hour and skip the fixed costs. The private jet charter cost guide shows what goes into a quote.
Why the Taylor Swift Jet Tracker Went Quiet
Jet-tracking accounts work by reading ADS-B signals, which aircraft broadcast, and matching each aircraft’s unique code to a registered owner. Remove the link between the signal and the owner and the tracker loses the plane.
The FAA offers two programs for this. Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed (LADD) lets owners filter their aircraft from FAA data feeds and from public display on participating websites. The Privacy ICAO Address (PIA) program gives an aircraft an alternate address that is not tied to a named operator in the registry. NBAA advises owners to use both. We do not know whether she uses either program, and we make no claim that she does.
The FADER reported on February 7, 2024 that her legal team sent a cease-and-desist letter to Jack Sweeney, a University of Central Florida student who ran a Swift tracking account. We report that as an attributed fact only. We publish no live routes or flight histories for her or anyone else.
The Emissions Debate in One Paragraph
Swift’s flying drew public criticism over its carbon footprint in early 2024, and her representatives pushed back. We do not repeat the competing emissions figures that circulated, because they came from different methods and none of them is a measurement of her actual flights.
How We Checked
We searched the FAA registry on November 6, 2026 for N621MM and N898TS and read the reservation records. We then read the press coverage of the Falcon 900 sale and of the cease-and-desist letter. Owners usually register aircraft through LLCs and trusts, so a registry search never proves the whole story. If a new filing or a named outlet shows the 7X’s current registration, we will update this page with the source.

- How much does Taylor Swift's private jet cost?
- The price was never disclosed. The Falcon 900 sale in January 2024 had no published figure, and we found no confirmed purchase price for the 7X. For real ranges on jets in this class, see our ownership and charter cost guides.
- What does Taylor Swift's private jet look like?
