Does Justin Bieber have a private jet? Nothing on public record says so today. In December 2014 he posted photos from a private jet with the caption “New jet for Christmas,” but reports then disagreed on the model, and on whether he had bought it, been given it or chartered it for the day.

This page puts the 2014 coverage side by side, explains why a tail number cannot be pinned on him, and prices the Gulfstream class of jet for readers who want to fly one.

The short answer

Unconfirmed. Bieber posted photos on Instagram from a private jet at Christmas 2014, but the reports we opened do not agree on the model or on whether it was his. Our FAA name search on November 6, 2026 shows no aircraft we can tie to him.

Christmas 2014: the photos and the conflicting reports

CBS News, in an article dated December 26, 2014, reported that Bieber had posted photos of a private jet on Instagram with the caption “New jet for Christmas. And she’s beautiful,” and an earlier post that read “Merry Christmas she’s a beauty.” CBS said he “apparently treated himself,” and noted that TMZ speculated the plane was likely a Gulfstream G6 worth about $60 million. CBS did not confirm a model, a sale or a price.

Tech Times, on December 28, 2014, took the story a step further. It called the jet a Christmas gift, said “we can’t be sure who delivered the gift,” and then argued he probably bought it himself. Its own identification of the model was tentative: it said the jet “could be that of the Gulfstream G6” and gave a price estimate with no source.

The version that said he did not own it

On December 30, 2014, the German daily Abendzeitung München ran a story with the headline “Justin Bieber hat keinen neuen Privatjet,” which means “Justin Bieber has no new private jet.” According to the paper, citing TMZ, the plane was not his: he had only chartered a Gulfstream IV in a high-end configuration for a single flight from Canada to New York.

So in one week the plane was described as a gift, a purchase and a charter, with the model given as a Gulfstream “G6” in two reports and a Gulfstream IV in the third. We could not find a later report in what we opened that settles it.

The Gulfstream it might have been

We cannot say which aircraft it was, so we give the two names that came up and a pointer to price, not a verdict.

  • The “G6” reports. CBS and Tech Times both used this label, neither with a source. We could not match it to a registered aircraft, and a tail number was never published in the coverage we opened.
  • The Gulfstream IV. Abendzeitung, citing TMZ, said the aircraft was a Gulfstream IV used on a single charter flight.

For the current large-cabin model that people usually mean when they say a new Gulfstream, see our Gulfstream G650 price guide. For how big-cabin models rank against each other, read biggest private jets in the world.

Tail number and tracker searches

Two things bring many readers here: a tail number and a tracker. Neither has a public answer.

No tail number was published in the 2014 coverage we opened. The FAA owner-name search for BIEBER on November 6, 2026 returned one aircraft, a single-engine Cessna T210M registered to a private individual. Nothing connects that owner to the singer, so we do not treat it as his.

On tracking, we show no live or historic flight data, and we do not list movements of any individual. Public flight trackers show an aircraft by registration, so without a confirmed registration there is nothing to follow.

What a Gulfstream charter costs

If a Christmas-2014-style jet is what you want, charter is the low-commitment route. A large-cabin Gulfstream is priced by the flight hour plus fees, positioning and taxes, and the total moves with route and season. Our private jet charter cost guide explains how a quote is built so you can compare offers.

How we checked

On November 6, 2026 we searched the FAA aircraft registry for the owner name BIEBER and read the one result. We then opened the CBS News article of December 26, 2014, the Tech Times article of December 28, 2014 and the Abendzeitung München article of December 30, 2014. We found no source that names a registration, and the reports we opened disagree with each other. The registry cannot show charters or aircraft held under other names.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Justin Bieber own a private jet?
It was never confirmed. He posted photos from a private jet at Christmas 2014 with the caption "New jet for Christmas," but one German report said he had only chartered it for one flight. Our FAA name search on November 6, 2026 found no aircraft we can tie to him.
What is Justin Bieber's private jet tail number?
None of the 2014 reports we opened published one, so we cannot give a tail number. The only FAA match for the surname BIEBER is a single-engine Cessna T210M registered to a private individual, and nothing links that owner to the singer.
Can you track Justin Bieber's private jet?
Not from anything we can confirm. Trackers follow an aircraft by registration, and no registration for his has been confirmed. We do not publish live or historic flight data for any individual.
How much is Justin Bieber's private jet?
No price was ever confirmed. Tech Times estimated a figure for a Gulfstream in 2014 without a source, and CBS cited a TMZ guess. For current Gulfstream prices see our G650 price guide.
